The Technological aspects and effects of Cyber Victimization

There are numerous technoligical problems that have been unchanged by inactive legislation and that effects' exponentially increase damage to individuals

  • A search engine such as “Google” has a sandbox of about 6 months. This means that if you decide to set up a website today to provide for rebuttal, it probably won’t show up in a “Google” search for a minimum of 6 months.
  • In test we have conducted, there is no way to give equal position in any web page when it comes to accusation/rebuttal. Publish two or three sets of accusation/rebuttal, and you will get different position results each time.
  • Even though the internet publishing of a posting is in “real time”, its deployment is not. Rebuttals could take unequal amounts of time to show up before equal speeches in accusation/rebuttal have been affected. This gives unfair advantage to first poster in many cases.
  • No one should ever have the burden to answer hundreds or thousands of false postings with one for one rebuttal. The time required would be more than one person could handle and contributes to exponential damages and undue severe economic distress.
  • Database queries will separate unique data strings of information from common data strings of information. This means if your name has a unique spelling you will have a much worse advantage, than you have a common name. This makes it easy to target a person solely because of the spelling of their name.
  • A company or individual cannot just submit their posting to the internet and have it show up in all directories. It would be a daily fulltime job to write, manage and manipulate the position and maintain one webpage to the 3 most popular engines.
  • Sites that appear to a search engines’ “WebCrawler” to be government sites are given the highest ranking in most of the engines in the metrics we have tested. This means that a web site owner who tries to use a naming convention that simulates or impersonates the government would therefore get one of the highest rankings.
  • It is a tremendous unfair advantage to allow special interest non-profit groups such as PETA which generate 30 million dollars a year from wholesale harassment, stalking and defamation and misleading and unethical campaigns. Their new tactic is to enact and practice false internet conspiracy against individuals.
  • Due to the high volume the internet reaches, the damage these campaigns cause is of one that by its very nature, economically prevents the victim from being able to raise the tens of thousands of dollars it costs to retain a civil attorney. Civil remedies alone are highly inadequate.
